Waggin' Tails Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run solely by dedicated dog-lovin' volunteers.  Our dogs, of all breeds and ages, come from crowded shelters or as owner-surrenders and are fostered in homes in the Metro Detroit area. We do not own a shelter facility. Our dogs receive necessary vaccines, spay-neuter surgeries, and are treated for any medical or behavioral concerns that may arise before we help them transition to a loving, new home. 
  
   Our volunteers are focused on increasing awareness about the mounting homeless dog crisis facing shelter animals in Michigan and doing our part to decrease the number of dogs euthanized by advocating for foster care, adoptions, pet identification, spay/neutering and keeping pets with the people who love them.

 We also aim to shatter the stigma around rescue dogs by showing how they are loyal, loving companions, fully deserving of our efforts to save them.
